If the game runs at irritatingly slow speeds for you, close some programs, change the screen size from the options menu, and grab the latest Flash player from http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer, since later versions play the game slightly faster On some computers, you can only press so many buttons at the same time, this isn't a bug in the game, just something I have no control over Just in case anybody complains, you are supposed to fall off the disappearing platform in the forest, it's part of the game One thing I added in this game is the ability to unlock weapons, to unlock them, beat "Megaman vs Metroid" or this game, and you should see a message before the credits saying you've unlocked a new weapon. The new weapon should be selectable in the pause menu the next time you play either game If you do not see a message saying you got a new weapon, this could be due to several different things....
1. You may have blocked Local Storage, right-click on the game, select "Settings", click on the folder icon, and if the "Never ask again" checkbox is checked, uncheck it
2. Go to http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer and check to see if you have the latest version of Flash
3. You may have ignored the game when it requested storage, if you see a prompt before the credits requesting permission to store data on your computer, allow it
4. Are you sure you don't already have it? Pause the game while playing and check to see if any other weapons are availible I'd just like to mention the star of "Ghosts 'n Goblins" and the boss of the game, Arthur, is the most untalented video game character in video game history. He can't change direction in midair, can't jump off ladders, can't even throw a spear without having a seizure, you name it he can't do it. I made him as hard as I could to make up for his many flaws, devoted hours and hours of time on his AI alone. Hopefully Arthur will give you a run for your money, but if he's giving you to much trouble, remember he's the most untalented video game character in video game history, use all his weaknesses against him, he's got plenty

Bakuhatsu Panic!
UPDATE: Thanks to everyone for supporting Bakuhatsu Panic! It's now featured under Action Games and Remakes here on Newgrounds. Much credit to the old Atari 2600 Kaboom for giving me hours of fun and inspiration. Enjoy!

Here's a game I threw together, which is basically a remake of Atari 2600's Kaboom! It has a lot more features however. You must avoid the white bombs, and try to collect the letters for a bonus round. In the bonus round, you play a game of "hot potato" where you can hold the bomb for anywhere between 1-4 "clicks". Sorry about some of the Japanese text...I live in Japan and coded this for a party here. Bakuhatsu means "Explosion." Please note: If you find the game easy or slow, set it to low quality. There is a secret option available by clicking the dot in the exclaimation point in the title screen. I hope you enjoy it!!! Note: Level 20 is ALL letters...if you dont want to keep playing the bonus round, just dont catch the letters.

The Rise of a KING
IMPORTANT: Make sure CAPS LOCK is not on while playing this game, otherwise some buttons won't work. It's a flaw in the code, sorry about that... The Rise of a KING takes a turn to the role playing genre, but still retains the action from its predecessor. If you havent played The Rise of a Knight, then there is a "Story so Far" section where you can watch a slideshow of what happened in the first game. Explore the world in and around Stormguard Castle as you start off on your first day as a Knight. Times are getting dark with the current king and many others behaving strangely while more and more dangerous creatures appear, causing trouble all over the kingdom. You seem to be the only one to see the obvious corruption, and its up to you to dissolve this matter... CONTROLS Left and right arrow keys to move.
Up - jump.
Down - shield. Spacebar - Interact A - Normal attack
S - Heavy attack
D - Use selected spell 1 - Cycle through weapons
2 - Cycle available armor
3 - Cycle through shields Q - Cycle through spells
W - Drink Mana potion
E - Drink Health potion C - show/hide controls
M - Map
O - Objectives
P - Pause game
T - Toggle quality You can save your progress by sleeping in your bed in the castle barracks. EDIT: For some reason the link to play The Rise of a Knight doesnt work in the game. I have no idea why, because it works on www.ArmorGames.com.
