Title: Whack a Hoe!
Description: *Change the quality if it lags* Thanks to Newgrounds for the Daily 5th, and much thanks to Tom for the Frontpage ;) How many hoes can you bitchslap in one minute? Play to find out fool!
This was a game I was supposed to do with SuperBokey a looong time ago, but was dropped. I later revived it, and got meh buddy Puzz to draw the art, and after two weeks, this is what we got! Thanks to Stephanovich for voice acting! ~lostsolution.net

Post War
This game was made as an attempt to create a side scrolling fighter, like Final Fight, and mix in some RPG elements, similar to how King of Dragons did. I went further and added unique skills to each class you can choose. The result is a game that I hope fans of both genres can enjoy. Edit: I updated the game a little based on the comments I received (best I could). I upped the game speed by 8fps to make it run slightly faster, but not too fast to give the enemies a "thinking" advantage. I also added a continue feature, in which you can continue as many times as you'd like, but you lose all your money when you do (the game is not long and involved enough to require a save feature and takes only about an hour to complete). I fixed the typo on the pause screen as well. Things I did not update/fix involve the gameplay and controls. While some of the hit detection is leery (ranger enemies missing but still firing), most of the more prominent and troublesome ones arise from the enemy ai (a red guard being able to hit you before he is in your range, which is part of his strategy which you must avoid, rather than a bug. Same goes for the Hook enemy, attacking before you get within striking distance in hopes you will walk into his attack). However, you can still move after killing a boss, so that you may try to pick up their loot (which I originally intended as a bonus for people to stay on their toes and kill a boss in a position that they could grab the reward in time). Regardless, thanks for the feedback. I tried to fix everything I could, without completely redoing the game itself.

AB: Spindle
***Thanks for the stint on the front page! Spindle 2? I'm working on it! (Proof that I am? www.deadhounds.com/spindlehell.html)*** ***Keep in mind! This is only the first chapter, there are some things I'm holding back for later. Also remember, it's a game. And games are boring if they're too easy, i.e., if your guns were more powerful. If you want more powerful guns, buy the real thing and shoot your computer with them.*** ***This game will probably lag on any comp running less that 500MHz. My sincerest apologies, the only point of reference I had when I wrote the code was my own computer.*** ***Any storyline trouble? Complete all the fighting screens, then go back and revisit all the still screens, and keep trying things. For help getting past the bearded guy with the gun, look below for tip.*** This is the first chapter in the odyssey that is Spindle. Enjoy! ++++++++++++++++++
Game Modes
++++++++++++++++++ 1. [Play] - Make sure you visit the options screen first! There you can change the number and difficulty of enemies, and other options included for your convenience. 2. [Practice](in the minigames menu) - Warm up your fighting skills, and learn the combos you'll need to beat the game. Use the enemy selector to pick your opponents. 3. [Molotov Maelstrom](in the minigames menu) - Yeah, this was probably a bad idea... but sometimes, it doesn't matter how you waste your time. Run around amidst a hail of molotov cocktails. Hit 1000 and get a prize. ++++++++++++++++++
Controls
++++++++++++++++++ [Arrows] - MOVE: Dig those crazy legs. [A] - GUNS: Do not rely on your guns to get you through this game! If they were as powerful as you'd expect a pair of pistols to be, the game would be boring. They are most functional as part of the combos [S] - FIGHT: This is your most powerful attack, as you can string together devastating combos. Remember, you can only hit one enemy at a time, so watch your back! [D] - JUMP: You can kick or shoot while in the air. [Up & A] - BACK N FORTH: Two way gunnin'. Shoot at the guy in front of you, take the guy behind you off his feet. [Down & A] - HINDSIGHT IS 20/20: Reverse pistol whip. Throw it in the middle of a combo to take out guys sneaking up behind you while you're laying the whoopass on some thug. [Combos] - Usually follow the pattern S,S,S,A,A,A followed by a few more button mashes. You have to be quick to keep the combo rolling. Some combos will take the enemies' head off if his HP is below 40-50%. Check out the practice minigame for more combos/controls. ***SPOILER: sort've... to get past the guy with the gun, you have to eliminate him. You do this from the apartment (the room with the posters in it). Once you do find him, be patient (wait till he stops).***

PPGD: Battle in Megaville
First off, read Bleedman's Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi (PPGD) if you haven't! Doujinshi is Bleedman's work, *NOT* mine!!
http://ppg.snafu -comics.com/ This is a fighting game based off of the story and characters of PPGD. 6+ playable characters! Juggle combo system! Several unlockable secrets! Front page? Thanks guys, you rock! Have questions/trouble? Click "Read More" and read FAQ at bottom. v1.14 PPGD is a doujinshi written by Bleedman.
The character sprites in the game are creations of Dan123 and Emm456. FAQ:
1. the character pics on the character selection screen are outside of the boxes
-> just my personal aesthetic preference
2. the combos use the keys F and G, not A and B
-> A and B stand for 'Attack A' and 'Attack B'
3. the powerpuff girls change uniform between different attacks
-> my use of incoherent sprites (did not feel motivated to edit them all, praying you don't notice)
4. What are the controls? Can I change them?
-> Go to the "Options" on main menu to see/change them
5. How do you play?
-> read the "How to Play" on main menu
5. How do I beat Zim?!
-> He's vulnerable to a certain laser attack..
6. WHY CAN'T I SELECT MY CHARACTER??!
-> try hitting 'F' or 'G' (your default attack buttons)
7. How do you pause?
-> You can press ENTER, or click on MENU Version History:

Newgrounds Rumble
Tuesday June 3rd, 2008 - UPDATE - BUG FIXES, TWEAKS
- Major AI bug fixed
- Reduced number of henchmen to fight in Hank's final stage
- Hank now receives gun pickup, rage, and +20 health for consecutive parries (first, second and third, respectively)
- Minor character balancing
- Convict transformation now includes ALL characters
- Added FPM to survival rotation Friday May 30th, 2008 - UPDATE - NG AWARD, FANCY PANTS ADDED, BIRTHDAY
As some of you may have noticed, NGR was today named Game of the Year 2007 by Newgrounds! Everyone on the team is pretty psyched about this, and I think I can speak for the lot when I thank the fans, the panel, the staff and everyone who helped to unload this mother. Less noticeable, but still important - It's NGR's Daily-Feature-birthday! I knew you'd forget, so we got you a present instead. Brad Borne (DrNeroCF) was nice enough to animate us up a Fancy Pants'd fighter for NGR. Enjoy! This will probably be the last character update. Expect tweaks over the next few days though. Hope no one loses their save file!
-Neg September 28th, 2007 - UPDATE - bug fixes
September 22nd, 2007 - UPDATE - Hank and Nevada added
September 17th, 2007 - UPDATE - improvements + bug fixes In production since December 2005, this hefty s.o.b. has taken a small handful of Newgrounders a lot of work to put together. So you guys had better enjoy it!
Take a moment to configure the options to suit your control style and computer processor.
